                                                                                                 Holiday Party 2010
The Dickens Fellowship of New York celebrated its annual Holiday Party on Saturday, December 11, 2010. Fellowship and good cheer abounded in the spirit of the holidays, accompanied by excellent offerings of food and drink. The day's entertainment featured vocal selections by Fellowship member and former New York City Opera star Rosa Savoia and a reprise of Vote Dickens, an original skit authored by Dickens Fellowship of New York Vice President Emeritus and Poet Laureate Morton Jacober. Ed Mapp delivered a heartfelt spoken testimonial to Morton. The assemblage of members and guests happily offered the customary toast to Mr. Dickens. God Bless Us Everyone!!!

The New York Fellowship's 2009 Holiday Party
The New York Fellowship's 2008 Holiday Party
The Dickens Fellowship of New York and its members seek to keep the memory and study of Charles Dickens alive in New York City. The organization has aspects of a literary society or book club but includes much more as the name Fellowship implies. Our meetings include social events and group outings.  Members are kept apprised of cultural programs in New York City and the tri-state area that relate to Dickens and his Victorian era. Although we meet all the year round, as befitting Charles Dickens and A Christmas Carol, the Christmas season finds the Fellowship in especially hearty spirits.
